Calling all burger lovers! Denver’s top burger restaurants compete at Denver Burger Battle in August to determine once and for all who has the best burger in town. Chefs are invited to settle their beef and throw down a burger to beat them all. The smackdown started in 2010 and has continued ever since. Only the best burger restaurants in town make the cut to enter into the battle ring for a beefy brawl. Returning favorites and new contenders include local favorites like Cherry Cricket, Illegal Burger, and 5280 Burger Bar. The full list of contenders is released in the spring. Denver burger connoisseurs, we need your help choosing that bun-in-a-million burger. Bring your appetite! You get to be judges as you taste between hundreds of burgers that are dripping with cheese, drenched in special sauce, and stacked with flavorful toppings. We’re not talking about any ordinary burgers. Past winners include burgers that are loaded with pimento cheese, poblano peppers, bacon, and mouth-watering aiolis. Burgers are cut into small bites so that tasting can last all evening. Sampling the top burgers in the state isn’t the only highlight of Denver Burger Battle. There will be an awesome lineup of live music to contribute to the fun atmosphere of the event. Wash down your burger bites with all-inclusive bar stands that feature craft beers, cocktails, and seltzers. True burger fanatics can purchase VIP tickets. These tickets allow you to get access to a private bar and the first bites at the festival. More time at the battle means more time to taste the best burgers in town. The 2022 Denver Burger Battle will be held at the Auraria Campus in Denver on Thursday, August 4th. Don’t miss the biggest burger event of the year - tickets go on sale in May.
